Sponsor a Stone

The masons and carvers of York Minster have to replace at least 2,500 stones on the East Front. Help them in their work by sponsoring a stone for £600.

For just £10 a month over 5 years, or £5 a month over 10 years, you could be part of this vital project and help to the keep the Minster standing.

Why not Sponsor a Stone as a special gift for a family member or friend, or in memory of a loved one?

The names of donors will be recorded in a book which will be kept in the Minster, and their initials will be written on the stone in indelible ink.
